About the author
For the past 45 years, I have navigated the challenging landscape of anxiety, grappling with diagnoses such as OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), PTSD, depression, and anger issues. While numerous medications have been prescribed, I often felt they merely served as temporary solutions—band-aids that did little to address the core of my struggles. Over time, I discovered alternative methods that resonated more deeply with me and provided genuine relief. Through a combination of mindfulness practices, therapy, and lifestyle changes, I found tools that empower me to confront my anxiety head-on. Sharing these experiences has not only been therapeutic for me, but I hope it may also inspire others facing similar battles to seek out what truly works for them.

Living in the Washington DC area, I bring a unique perspective to the issue of anxiety and related challenges, shaped by my roots in Illinois. My passion lies in helping others navigate their anxiety, offering support and guidance based on my personal experiences. Additionally, I have dedicated time to exploring design, and I'm excited to share my creations with those who appreciate artistry. I have also authored a book on this subject, which further allows me to delve into discussions about anxiety and mental well-being. My goal is to foster a community where we can openly address these issues, share insights, and find comfort in the journey together. Whether through conversation or creative expression, I am here to advocate for understanding and healing.
